Dr. Sergio Pausa, D.M.D., M.S., is an experienced and compassionate oral and maxillofacial surgeon dedicated to providing exceptional care to his patients. Originally from Atlanta, GA, Dr. Pausa has spent over 25 years helping individuals in need of specialized dental surgery. Now residing in Cumming, GA with his wife, Angela, and their five children, Dr. Pausa balances his professional career with a deep commitment to his family and community. Outside of work, he enjoys supporting his church and his children's school.
Dr. Pausa earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and then continued his studies at The Medical College of Georgia, where he received his graduate degree. To further enhance his expertise, he completed a residency in Hospital Dentistry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, followed by a specialized residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The Medical College of Georgia. This advanced training ensures that Dr. Pausa is equipped to offer the highest level of care in oral surgery, with a focus on the specific needs of each patient.
Dr. Pausa specializes in a wide range of oral and maxillofacial procedures, including wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone and soft tissue reconstruction, facial trauma repair, and oral pathology. He also offers general anesthesia and IV sedation to ensure the comfort and safety of his patients.
As a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Pausa regularly attends continuing education seminars to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in his field. Additionally, he is an active member of the International Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the Georgia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a fellow at the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Pasa and his entire staff were incredibly professional and helpful. The procedure went very well and I give credit to his PA as well. Post surgery instructions were Concise in helpful. The office even checked all options with TRICARE to see if there were further car savings available. I couldn’t recommend them higher!
I could not ask for a better oral surgeon! Dr. Pausa is compassionate and explains in detail the procedure recommended. Highly recommend! His staff is pretty awesome too☺️ (I traveled 2 hours each way to see Dr. Pausa!)
